A masquerade night at The Arabella takes a deadly turn, and the guests are the ones who have to work it out. Live actors play the story out around you while your group chases clues and cracks puzzles against the clock.
Escape room meets theater, on Friday the 13th. Ages 18+. Costumes encouraged, masks welcome, and best-dressed awards go out at the show.

How the night works
An escape room that walks and talks.
You don't watch this mystery. You work it. The actors play the story out around your group, and your group solves it: clues, puzzles, and a clock that doesn't care how nice your mask is.
No escape-room experience needed. Come solo or bring a crew, and everyone in the room plays. The story is an original, written in-house by Dilly Dally Social.

Friday, November 13, 2026 at The Arabella in Johnstown. Two shows, 6:00 and 8:00 PM. $40 a seat, and seating is limited. Doors open at show time; arrive up to 15 minutes early (5:45 for the 6:00 show, 7:45 for the 8:00).

Should I dress up?
Costumes encouraged, masks welcome, and we give out best-dressed awards. Not required: wear whatever feels like a night out.
How old do I need to be?
Murder at the Masquerade is for guests 18 and up.
Do I need escape-room experience?
No. The whole room works the clues together, and the actors keep the story moving.
Can I come solo?
Yes. Come solo or bring your crew. Everyone in the room plays.
How long is the show?
